Here I hope to explain clearly how to convert an MP3 music file to a wave file for use in a Power Point Show. This uses a very clever free program called CDex which you can download from their website. Click here to download it:  CDex




1. Open up the CDex program and click 'Convert' and then 'Add Riff wav header to MP2 or MP3 file'





This converts the file so that you can use it in your Power Point Slide Show. Remember that a wav file is the only type of music file you can use at the moment. A reminder here to keep your music file in the same directory box as all your other files for your Slide Show. For some reason if you have your music file in a different directory box it will insert it but it will not play the other end when sent by email. Good luck.
